Mrs. Fred Lassen Succumbs
Early This Morning. Mrs.
Joseph Hastings Dies
at 11:15 Today.
Two well known Atlantic wom-
en, Mrs. Fred Lassen, 705 Hazel
street and Mrs. Sarah Clarinda
Hastings, 309 Hazel street, wife
of Joseph Hastings, local civil war
veteran, were called by death this
morning. Mrs. Lassen died at
5:15 after an illness of three
months with heart trouble. Mrs.
Hastings died at 11:15 this
morning. She had been in failing
health a number of years, death
resulted from complications in-
cident to her advanced age.
