Hazel M. Wibel: PERU - Hazel M. Wibel, 88, formerly of Peru, died at 7:15 p.m. Monday in Flinn Memorial Home, Marion. She was born in Miami County Feb. 16, 1897, to Samuel and Dora Elder Butt. She was a retired foods supervisor at Dukes Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Grandmothers Club, Rebekah Lodge No. 100, and Ruth Chapter 120 Order of the Eastern Star. She was also a lifetime member of the Pythian Sisters. Surviving are a son, Harold Wibel, Bunker Hill; 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A daughter, a brother and a sister preceded in death. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, with the Rev. Sam Fleming officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
