Abner Cantrell, 60 years old, well known resident of Chesnee, died at his home last night after a lingering illness.
Mr. Cantrell had made his home in Chesnee for many years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Myra Cantrell, and one brother, Ed Cantrell of Chesnee.
Mr. Cantrell was a prominent farmer and his many friends will learn with regret of his passing.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
