On the day of Mr. Cantrell's death his sister at King's Mountain was buried in the cemetery at Piedmont Church.
The funeral of Mr. Cantrell took place at Piedmont Church, where he was a consistent member for years, after which the body was tenderly laid to rest near by that of his sister who was buried the day before.
Mr. W.W. Turner and Melton Turner of the city came out to attend the funeral.
