She later attended the Ferris Institute and taught at Bixby Business College in St. Petersburg, Florida as a substitute. On August 27, 1923 in Hillsdale, Michigan, Madge married Victor A. Berglund. Madge and Victor had children: Doris Ann, Victor, Thomas, and Daniel.
After Victor passed, Madge married Clayton Clifford Howard.
