MACON,Feb. 18--Amos Reedy, 85 years old died in his home in Macon Sunday night at 7:30. Mr.Reedy came to Macon from Ohio in 1873 and bought a farm west of town where he lived until about nine yeas ago when he left the farm and came to Macon to live.
Mr.Reedy was a member of the IOOF lodge for 63 years. He was active and cheerful until the time of his death and was a favorite with old and young.
He leaves three children,Elmer Reedy, Mrs. James Lowe and Mrs. Mayme Divan, all of Macon. There are four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon in the Presbyterian church by Rev.Mr.Shafer assisted by Rev. A W. Dundas of the Methodist church. Odd Fellows will have charge of the services at the cemetery.
