William Burrell and Sarah Elizabeth Goodner Lee were blessed with eleven children. Besides the ten children that are listed on this page, they had another son, named Burrell A. Lee, born in 1873 in Bradley County Tennessee. Family story was that several months after the family moved to Texas, Sarah became so homesick for her family back in Tennessee, that they decided to just move back. Somewhere in east Texas on their way back to Tennessee, Burrell A. was kicked in the head by a horse, and died. He was buried wherever they were. Then Sarah said Since we've had to bury a son in Texas, we will just stay in Texas. So they came back to Elizabethtown in Denton County, where so many of the Lee family had settled.
When the railroads were built through Denton County, one went through Justin and another went through Roanoke, leaving Elizabethtown in the middle. So many settlers moved closer to these two towns and Elizabethtown just died, leaving only the Elizabeth Cemetery. William Burrell and Sarah and their family moved to Justin. Their farm was west of Highway 156 on Highway 407. William Burrell died soon after moving to Justin. The Justin Cemetery had not been established, so William Burrell was buried in the Elizabeth Cemetery, with so many of his family members. Twenty nine years later, his wife, Sarah Elizabeth Goodner Lee chose to be buried in the Justin Cemetery. Most of their children are also buried in the Justin Cemetery.
