Mrs.George Lowe of Macon, aged 63, died in St. Marys hospital at 5:30 pm Sunday evening of peritonitis, following an operation for appendicitis.
Effie reedy was born in Circleville,Ohio, April 14,1868. She was the daughter of Amos and and Rose Buchwalter Reedy. She came to Macon at the age of four years.
She was married to George Lowe on March 24th 1887 at the age of 18. To this union were born four children,Bessie Shults,of Blue Mound, George M. Lowe of Decatur, Wayne Lowe of Vandalia and Faith Ault of Chicago. Besides her children,she leaves her husband,George Lowe and one brother, Elmer Reedy and six grandchildren.
She early united with Methodist church and was a faithful and devout Christian until her death.
Funeral services will be in the First Methodist church at Macon at 2 Tuesday afternoon.
