Mrs. Ruth Hollis, age 88, of Stockbridge passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2009. She was a graduate of Lee College, Cleveland, Tennessee and was on the staff and a member of Eagle's Landing Church of God.
She was preceded in death by husband Dewey Hollis and son David Dunn. She is survived by Jon and Jean Dunn of McDonough; Haskell and Faye Dunn of Atmore, AL; Raymond and Margaret Ward of Jasper; Fred and Joan Swank of Monroe, MI; 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Services will be Wed, March 18, 2009 at 11 AM from the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Elvis Hester officiating. Interment Valhalla Cemetery in Bessemer, AL.
