OLLIE AND ANN TOGETHER AGAIN
Ann passed away peacefully to be with our Lord and her beloved husband, Oliver Eugene Joaquin. Ann was born to Alex and Anna Matchniff.
Mom was retired from Gottschalks. She enjoyed her long-time friends from Fresno Tech; her many wonderful neighbors; her monthly meetings with the Fresno Retired Postal Employee's "lunch bunch" and treasured time spent with the staff and her many friends at S.J.V.R. Fitness.
We wish to sincerely thank all of the caring staff at Clovis Community Hospital and the earth-bound angels at the Hinds Hospice Home for their loving care.
Mom never met a stranger, only friends, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her as we do.
She is survived by her three children and their spouses: daughter, Judy Anderson and her husband Maurice "Mo"; two sons Kenneth "Tony" Joaquin and his wife Jamie, and Timothy Joaquin and his wife Ellen; as well as six grandsons; four great-grandsons and, at last, one great-granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at St. Peter's Cemetery, 264 N. Blythe on Thursday, January 14, 2010, at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hinds Hospice, 1406 W. Twain Ave., Fresno, Ca. 93711-3014.
