Elmwood, April 27—Mrs. Minnie Malone, 68, of Monica, died Thursday night at a
Peoria hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. (DST) Sunday at the Clark memorial home in
Elmwood, with the Rev. E. L. Fernandez of Peoria, officiating. Burial will be in
the Elmore cemetery.
She was a member of the Elmore Methodist church since 1893 and belonged also to
the Royal Neighbors. She was born to Sanford and Emma Prtaz Jacques, May 28,
1882, in Elmore and was married to William Malone, Oct 11, 1905. He died in 1945.
Surviving are three sons, Harold, of Peoria; Harley of Monticello, Ia.; Melvin of
Monica; two daughters Mrs. Grace Mortimer, of Toulon; Mrs. Dorotha Janssen, of
Creve Coeur; one brother, Jonathan Jacques, of Oregon; and one sister Mrs. Emma
Clayton, of Nebraska. Five sisters preceded her in death.
