Arthur Robinson of Inwood, NY was held at Carson Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Greater Mt. Pisgah AME church in St. Matthews. The Rev. Timothy Dicks officiated.

He was a son of Evelyn P. Robinson and the late Woodrow Robinson, Sr. He was married to the late Glenda Miller. Two brothers preceded him in death; Woodrow Robinson, Jr. and Clarence Robinson.

He joined Mt. Pisgah AME church at an early age. He graduated from John Ford High School in 1963 and was active in various sports. After migrating to Inwood, NY, he was employed at Al Steiner's Catering until his health declined.

Survivors include two daughters, Ursula S. Robinson of Inwood, NY and Lorraine Howell of St. Matthews; a son, William (Gail) Howell; his mother, Evelyn P. Robinson of St. Matthews; two brothers, Bobbie L. Robinson of East Orange, NJ and Wesley Robinson of St. Matthews; three sisters, Janie M. Hopkins of Winston-Salem, NC, Deborah P. (Thomas) Wannamaker of St. Matthews, and Donna M. Cunningham of Winston-Salem, NC; two sisters-in-law, Verna L. Robinson and Catherine Robinson of St. Matthews; a brother-in-law, Sam Harris, Jr. of Rockhill; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; an uncle, Jimmie Robinson and an aunt, Ruth Robinson, both of Philadelphia, PA; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
