J. F. (Floyd) Dugat, 76-year-old retired rancher of Winnie, died at 8 a.m. Thursday of a heart attack suffered at his home. He was a native of Hankamer, Tex.
Mr. Dugat was a member of the First Baptist Church in Winnie and for a number of years was a member of the Coastal Cattlemen's Assn. He served for eight years as a director of Boys' Haven.
Survivors are his daughter, Mrs. Perry Burr of Winnie; two sons, E. J. Dugat and Euel Dugat, both of Winnie, and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in the First Baptist Church in Winnie with the Rev. J. E. Jones, pastor, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Alton Reed of Winnie-Stowell Methodist Church. Burial will be in a Hankamer Cemetery under direction of the L. M. Williams and Sons Funeral Home.
