Aged Ness Woman Dies Last Week
Mrs. Jacob Pfannenstiel, 70 a resident of the Ness City community since 1916, passed away at the hospital here Wednesday evening, September 6.

Born Anna M. Gabel at Munjor on November 16, 1890, she grew to womanhood there. On October 20, 1908, she was unitel [sic] in marriage to Joseph Pfannenstiel. The couple lived near Munjor for a time, coming to the Ness City community in 1916. The family have since resided here.

Survivors include; The husband, Jacob; three daughters, Mrs. John Wittman of Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Paul Meier of Portland, Ore., and Mrs. Harold Hemken of Pampa, Texas; five sons, Edward of Kansas City, Mo., Alex of Portland, ore., Alfred of Santa Ana, Calif., Edwin of Attica, and Joe of Denver, Colo.; 20 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held from the Sacred Heart church here Saturday morning, September 9, conducted by the pastor, Rev. James M. Tainter. Interment was in the Ness City cemetery with Fitzgerald's in charge.
