She was lifelong member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Hagerstown.
Bessie is survived by two sisters, Margaret Ellen Intyre, Boonsboro and Nellie G. Leather, Hagerstown and a number of nieces and nephews.
Bessie was predeceased by four sisters: Lola Florence Valentine, Maude Ivy Dubel, Irma M. Everly Shank, Delva Minnick; and two brothers, William Recher and Earl Josiah Recher.
Funeral held at the Minnich Funeral Home with the Rev. Ralph H. Miller officiating with internment made in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Hagerstown by Minnich funeral directors.
