  Michael W. Stiever, 39, of Rob-

binsdale, Minn., and formerly of

Winona, died Wednesday (March

15, 1989) of an apparent heart at-

tack.


  He was born Feb. 16, 1950, in

Winona to Bernard and Mary Mack

Stiever, was a graduate of Cotter

High School, and attended Winona

State University, Saint Mary's Col-

lege and what was then called Stout

State University in Menomonie.

Wis.


  He was a computer programmer

for Prudential Insurance in Minne-

apolis.


  Survivors include his fiance,

Diane Ditty of Robbinsdale; his

parents: three brothers, Mark and

William of Winona, and Paul of

South St. Paul; a sister, Barbara

Stiever of Winona; his paternal

grandfather, C.J. Stiever of Wino-

na; and his maternal grandmother.

Nellie Mack of Lake City, Minn.


  Services will be at 10 a.m. Satur-

day at the Church of Our Lady of

Mount Carmel in Robbinsdale. Buri-

al will be at 2 p.m. in St. Mary's

Cemetery in Winona.


  Friends may call from 6-9 p.m.

today at the Gearty-Delmore Funer-

al Chapel in Robbinsdale, where a

prayer service will be at 7 p.m.

today.
