Mrs. Clarabelle Armentrout, 69, of McGuffey, died at 6:40 p.m. Monday in Memorial Hospital of a heart ailment from which she had been suffering for nearly a year.

She was born in Auglaize-co and had been a resident of McGuffey all her life. Her husband, Jacob, and three sons preceded her in death, one son having been killed during World War II in the Pacific.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. O. S. Fickle of near Kenton and Mrs. Winona Kahley, Mrs. Gertrude Leonard and Mrs. John Wilson, all of McGuffey; four sons, Earl, New Holland, O., Loren and William, Newaygo, Mich., and Wayne of McGuffey; a brother, William, McGuffey; and 23 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.

The body will be removed from the Hanson funeral home in Alger to the residence to remain until services at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the Church of Christ in McGuffey. Burial will be in Alger cemetery.
