Graveside services will be held at Evergreen cemetery Monday afternoon at 3:30 p.m., for Irving Williams, 75, who died Wednesday, May 14, 1958, in Los Angeles, Calif. Rev. Robert P. Phillips will conduct the service. Funeral services were held today in Los Angeles.
Charles Irving Williams was born March 19, 1883, in Vinton, a son of the late Charles and Nannie Williams. He was the oldest of nine children and graduated from Vinton high school in 1903. He lived in Waterloo for several years before moving to Tulsa, Okla , where he was in the building business for many years. He moved to Los Angeles about 14 years ago.
Surviving are his widow, the former Bertha Wood, one daughter, Mrs. H. M. (Betty) Shockley, two grandchildren, Joan and Charles Irving Shockley of Lemon Grove, Cal., and the following brothers and sister: Gene of Marysville, Wash., Harold of Norwalk, Calif, Arthur of Spokane, Wash , Wayne of Tulsa
