Wilhelmus DuBois, born April 14, 1840, died at his home about one-half mile south of Green Oak Monday evening, July 10 [25], 1910, aged 70 years, 3 months and 11 days. He was born and grew up in Fulton county, near Green Oak, and was united in marriage to Hannah M. Holcombe, February 8, 1863. To this union three children were born: Thomas J., William R. and Jonathan E., all of whom survive him. He leaves a wife, three sons, sixteen grandchildren, four brothers and three sisters and a host of relatives and friends. He was a kind husband, indulgent father and a good neighbor. Funeral services to be held at the house at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, Rev. Lacey officiating. Interment at Horton cemetery.
