Christine Haddix, age 58, widow of Shirley Junior Haddix, 91 Brack Blythe Road, Clay City, KY died Monday, February 25, 2008 at her residence. She was a daughter of the late Amos and Josie Ledford King and a homemaker. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by her son, Bobby Haddix. Surviving relatives include two sons, Tommy Haddix and his wife Jennifer and Brian Haddix along with his companion, Tina Roseberry; two daughters, Lynn Hughes and her husband Eddie and Cleta Townsend and her husband Glen, all of Clay City, KY. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren including Bobby Ray Martin, Kristy Hughes, Ashley Hughes, Brittany Hughes, Jake Hughes, Bridget Haddix, Melissa Haddix, Shay Roseberry, Sarah Roseberry and Brian Christian Tyler Haddix. She is survived by one brother and two sisters. Funeral services officiated by Bro. Herbert Barnett and Bro. Johnny Hurt were held February 29, 2008. Interment took place at the Hatton Creek Cemetery with Scottie Haddix, Brandon Crabtree, Robert Haddix, James Creech, Tommy Richardson and David Wayne Creech serving as her active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers included Ruby Richardson, Linda Haddix, Nellie Haddix, Lillie Creech, Margaret Caudill and Wanda Elkins. Arrangements were handled by the Hearne Funeral Home in Stanton, KY.
