Emma Henke, Milford, dies; rites Tuesday.
Milford: Mrs. Emma Henke, 86, of Milford, died at 1 p.m. Sat., Feb. 02, at the Dearwood Nursing Home in Kankakee where she had resided the past eight years. She was born Jan. 6, 1888 in Ash Grove, daughter of Alexander & Carolina Freiboth Natschke. She married John Henke, Jan. 10, 1906 at Ash Grove. He preceded her in death in 1916.
Surviving are three sons, Martin of Kokomo, Ind., Edward and Alvin, both of Milford; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Luecke of Milford, Mrs. Lydia Obenland of Sheldon and Mrs. Amanda Johnson of Jackson, Mich; a brother, William Natschke of Woodland. She was preceded in death by a son, two grandsons, two sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services Tuesday, Feb. 05, at 2 p.m. at our Savior Lutheran Church of Milford with the Rev. Robert Hedtke officiating. Burial in the Maple grove Cemetery. Visitation at the Braker Funeral Home in Milford Monday, Feb. 04.
**Emma was born in Lodingsen, Hanover, Germany to Carolina Freiboth. Alexander Natschke adopted her.
