Born on July 13, 1930, she grew up in Orange, graduating from Orange High School 1949.
She was married to Howard Goulette Sr. in 1950, honeymooning on Cape Cod, and they have enjoyed 56 years together.
A quiet lady, she had been a housekeeper for private homes in the Athol-Gardner area, as well as at the Fiske Funeral Home in Athol for many years.
Jeanette loved her family, especially time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. An avid reader, she also enjoyed flowers, and going to Maine and Florida.
Survivors include her beloved husband, Howard Goulette of Athol; her sons, William Goulette Sr., and his fiancé Faith Borgatti, of Orange, Donald Goulette, and his wife Denise, of Winchendon, and Howard Goulette Jr. Of Hadley; a daughter, Nancy Giddings of Keystone, Florida; twelve grandchildren; and nineteen great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Roger Goulette, on April 10, 1990.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at 10:00AM in Witty's Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange. The Rev. Fr. Adam Reid of Our Lady Immaculate Church will officiate. Interment will follow in Silver Lake Cemetery, upper level off Lenox Street, in Athol.
Calling hours will be Monday evening, May 29, 2006 from 6-8PM at the funeral home.
