Shawn L. Barton, 39, of Worthington RD1, died Thursday, June 5, 2003 at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, East Franklin Township.
He was born June 15, 1963 in Allegheny County to Carl L. Sr. and Mary L. (Bowser) Barton.
Mr. Barton was a former employee of the Armstrong Cement Plant.
He was a member of the Worthington Baptist Church.
His memberships included Ducks Unlimited.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Della M. (Cypher) Barton; one daughter, Holly M. Barton at home; his parents of Worthington RD1; and five brothers, Carl Barton Jr. of Chicora, Barry Barton and Scott Barton, both of Worthington, Jeffrey Barton of Kittanning RD4 and Boyd Barton of Cowansville.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Duane Snyder Funeral Home, Bear Street, Worthington, where funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday with his pastor, the Rev. Joseph Simpson, officiating.
