Funeral services for Mrs. Virginia Kandler, 64, of R. 2, Kiel, widow of Herman, will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Kiel.Pastor C. L. Reiter will officiate. Burial will be in Kiel Cemetery.
Mrs. Kandler died unexpectedly Saturday at her home.

She was born Dec. 7, 1908 in Kiel the daughter of the late Robert and Bertha Krueger Voland. She attended Kiel public school.

On March 16, 1930 she was married to Gerhard Schwartz at Trinity Lutheran Church, Kiel. He died May 12, 1949.
On May 18, 1950 she was married to Herman Kandler at Trinity Lutheran Church, Kiel. After marriage the couple lived in New Holstein, Brothertown and Kiel. He died June 1, 1970.

Mrs. Kandler was a former Kiel Wooden Ware Co. employe and was a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Kiel.

Survivors are a daughter,Mrs. Arthur (Faye) Nordin of Kewaskum; a son, Gary of West Bend; a step son, Ernest Kandler of Butts de Morts, and seven grandchildren.
A brother preceded her in death in 1945.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel, until 11 a.m. Tuesday and at the church from noon until time of service.
