Mr. Oliver J. Hicks and Miss Mary Eva Jones were married last Friday afternoon, Dec. 24, at the Methodist parsonage, Rev. J.O. Ware performing the ceremony.
The groom is the son of Hon. and Mrs. C.E. Hicks of Ebenezer community and is associated with his father in farming and in the mercantile business. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Jones of McBride community and has been engaged in teaching near Ebenezer-Fayette Chronicle.
