Mrs. Ora Rose Is Buried Here Saturday
Funeral services for Mrs. Ora Schubert Rose were held here Saturday afternoon from the Meiselwitz Funeral home. Mrs. Rose died at Milwaukee Wednesday evening.
The Rev. E. L. Worthman was in charge of the services and burial was made in the Kiel cemetery.
She was born January 5, 1891, in Kiel, the daughter of the late Fred and Emma Schubert. She attended Kiel schools, and December 9, 1930, was married to Vincent John Rose. Since their marriage they lived in Milwaukee, with the exception of one year in San Diego, California. He passed away February 14, 1949. Mrs. Rose was a charter member of the Kiel American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Gerald (Neva) Hester of Dubuque, Iowa; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. E. R.(Eldora) Hayner and Mrs. E. A. (Irma) Paulsen, Kiel; two brothers, Raymond of Sheboygan and Rewald of Milwaukee.
Her son-in-law, Gerald Hester, is with the U. S, army in the Philippine Islands.
