SSGT, US ARMY WORLD WAR II

Uncle Roger was killed while serving our Country in WWII, He was only 21 when he was Killed in Action in Germany. His Sister Nancy Dillman Rohr (My Children's Grandmother) had told us many many stories about her older Brother Roger (my Children's great Uncle) Nancy & his sister's Rose & Mary all called him Rog short for Roger so we knew him as Uncle Rog.

Rog was a very awesome Big Brother to all his sisters (3) it was during the Great Depression, they had lost their mother and father during this tragedy and Rog took care of them as best as he could, eventually they all had to go to a foster family, Rog got older and helped out as best he could with the Lady they called "Grandma Nona" (foster Mother) He was very funny and very caring "he had a heart of Gold" and he went to the Army during WWII, so Nancy said they prayed all day and night for Rog to make it home to them.

Nancy said on December 16, The Army arrived at their home with a telegram stating "Roger Dillman was Killed in Action during active duty" It was a very sad day.

I feel blessed that I found Uncle Roger "put here by the V.A." and I was able to give him the bio. that he so very much deserved" "God Bless You Uncle Roger"

They received his medal's including "The Purple Heart".

Thank you for your kindness for taking the time to read this. "God Bless You"

~*~Wow, I am so touched by your kindness for sponsoring Uncle Rog~*~ "A Huge Thank You to Ryan S."
