Cleveland, Dec 27 — Quite a gloom was cast over this place on Christmas day by the announcement that Albert Kime, the 8-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kime, was drowned in Oneida lake while skating. The alarm quickly spread, but the boy was in the water fully thirty minutes before his body was recovered. Every effort was made to revive him, but in vain. The accident happened about 3:30 o'clock. The boy was on the lake skating with several other children. He skated into the lake not over 100 feet from the shore, where Black creek empties into the lake forming quite a current and although the water is not much over four feet deep, it is quite a dangerous place. Albert Kime was a bright young lad, beloved by all. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon.
