He was raised and worked on the family farm, then worked as a forklift operator for Pacific Coast SW Warehouse in Chino, CA for 19 years, then worked 6 years as a forklift operator at Sam's in Wichita, KS. He was a 40 year member of the BPOE Elks Lodge #1451 in Pratt.
He is survived by a son: Brian K. Henderson of Tulsa, OK, brothers: John W. & wife Carol Henderson of Pratt and Charles W. & wife Sue of Sun Lakes, AZ, a sister: Alice & husband Stan Overocker of Olathe, KS.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial service will be Friday, January 8, at 10:00 a.m. at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road in Pratt, with Chaplain Fred Pinkerton presiding. Inurnment will be at Iuka Cemetery, Iuka, KS.
