George W. Mullinix died at the home of his daughter Mrs. Harry Bushey, at Mount Airy, March 17, 1923 after a long illness, aged 74 years 17 days.

Besides his daughter he is survived by two sons, William C. Mullinix and Cornelius A. Mullinix both of Woodbine; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services held at Morgan Chapel, Sunday, March 18, conducted by Rev. F.S. Cain. Internment in the adjoining cemetery. The pallbearers were six of his nephews.
