Joline Chapman Obituary
WINDSOR - Joline J. Chapman, 76, of Windsor died at 11:05 p.m. Tuesday March 4, 2008 in the Mattoon Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday in the Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home, Windsor. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in the Windsor Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Windsor United Methodist Church elevator fund. She was born July 7, 1931 in Findlay, the daughter of Paul and Kathlyn Miner Orr. She married Marion R. Chapman, April 19, 1950 in Shelbyville and he preceded her in death April 6, 1970. She was a member of the Windsor United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She served on the Storm Memorial Library Board in Windsor. She was formerly employed by State Farm Insurance Co. in Bloomington, Time-Life Magazine in Denver, CO, Nationwide Insurance Co. in Columbus, OH and retired from the Shelby County Supervisors of Assessments Office after 21 years. Surviving are daughters, Toni Jackson and husband, Jim of Mattoon and Marci Croy and husband, Don of Windsor; son, Wes Chapman and wife Trish of Mattoon; grandchildren, Doug Jackson and Wyatt Jackson of Mattoon, Melissa Herron and husband Jason of El Paso, TX, Ashton Croy of Mattoon and Gannon Croy of Windsor. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and sister, Norma May Orr. Joline was an avid reader, had a kind heart and enjoyed encouraging others with cards she sent.
