James Ramminger, 63, was dead Wednesday morning. His death was caused by a self-inflicted rifle bullet in the chest. His death occurred about 7:30 a.m. at his home. Coroner Dr. Theodore Teitgen came over from Manitowoc and investigated the affair. Funeral services will be held Saturday from the Meiselwitz Funeral Home with the Rev. Vernon Jaberg in charge.
Mr. Ramminger was born September 3, 1895, in the town of New Holstein. His parents were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ramminger. Educated in the local schools he operated a farm after his marriage to Marie Bunge on November 1, 1921. They moved to Kiel about 1933. He worked as a painter.
Survivors include his widow and five sisters, Mrs. Helmuth Stier and Mrs. Charles Stier, New Holstein, Mrs. Norbert Gilsdorf, Elkhart Lake; Miss Elda Ramminger at Neenah and Miss Edna Ramminger of Madison; two brothers, Arthur of Morrisville, Missouri and Joseph of Sheboygan.
