ALTON WAYNE "Mann" DAVIDSON
Rev. Gary Demmitt conducted services at Hawkins Chapel September 17 for Altion Wayne "Mann" Davidson, who died September 14 at his home in Bridgeport. Burial was in Tucker Cemetery.
Mr Davidson, 64, was born in Chico April 20, 1929. He married Dora Caraway August 18, 1951, in Bridgeport. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War ll, serving in Europe. He worked for Fort Worth and Denver Railroad until 1967, and for Hobbs Trailer Co. until 1991.
He was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Dora, of Bridgeport; three sons, Alton Davidson, Jr., of Fort Worth, Raymond Loyd Davidson and Bobby Dan Davidson of Bridgeport; a daughter, Reba Sue Powers of Bridgeport; sisters Reba Allcorn of Aurora, Fayrene Monroe and Emma Pitts of Chico; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
