MRS. MICHAEL ALWINE
Mrs. Michael Alwine died at the home of her son-in-law Joseph Topper, in
McSherrystown on Sunday,
April 3, from old age, having reached the good age of 86 years and 8 months.
Funeral was on Tuesday
morning of last week at St. Mary's Catholic Church in York, with interment
in St. Patrick's cemetery, York. She leaves three sons and five daughters,
Frank, Edward and George, of York; Mrs. Josephine Topper, of McSherrystown;
Mrs. Jerome Heidler, of York; Mrs. Wm. Sholty, of Lancaster; Mrs. S. T.
Russell,
of Philadelphia, and Mrs. Charles R. Lane, of Brooklyn.
