On September 22, 1856 Ralph Critchlow Jr. married Marie Waine in Alstonfield, England.

They had a son they named Ralph Critchlow born in 1863 who married a Mary Ann Johnson.

The year after Marie died he married Frances Ann (Chancellor) Flint. They were wed on March 28th, 1887 in Leek, Staffordshire, England.

Ralph and his first wife Marie Waine rest now side by side in the Rushton Spencer Cemetery along with their son Ralph.

Full Gravestone Inscription:

In Affectionate Remembrance of the late Maria Critchlow of Heaton Lodge, who departed this life July 9, 1886 Aged 65 years.

I was so long with pain oppressed, it wore my strength away. It made me long for endless rest which never can decay.

Also Ralph Son of Ralph & Maria Critchlow. Who died December 27th 1896 Aged 34 Years.
