Alvin "Buddy" Trompler, age 88, of Waxahachie, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2008 at Navarro Regional Hospital in Corsicana. He was born November 17, 1919 in Bynum, Texas to Henry and Gertrude (Mussie) Trompler. He served in the U. S. Army during WWII. Buddy was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Waxahachie. Survivors include his wife, Christine Trompler of Corsicana; two sons, Eddie Trompler and his wife, Linda of Frost and Larry Trompler and his wife, Yvonne of Victoria, TX; two sisters, Florene Grounds of Corsicana and Frances Hollingsworth of Fort Worth; four granddaughters and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services were 3PM Sunday, March 9, 2008 in the chapel of the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home with Reverend Ricky Woodall officiating. Intermentl followed at the Hillcrest Burial Park. Pallbearers were Jimmy Radke, Ronnie Radke, Donnie Grounds, Terry Grounds and Mark Hill.
The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home
