Herald Coaster, July 9, 1968:
Funeral services for Robert Kroesche, 97, of Rosenberg were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in St. Paul Lutheran Church with Rev. D. Lee Muehlbrad, pastor of the church, officiating.
A native of Comal County, Mr. Kroesche moved to Fort Bend County in 1911. He died about 5 p.m. Friday in Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Leona Otto of Needville; two sons, Herman Kroesche of Rosenberg and Bennie Kroesche of Sealy; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Ervin Lee Vallet, Milton Kroesche, Roland Kroesche, Eddie Ziesmer, Richard Burks and Melvin Reeh.
Burial was in W.O.W. Cemetery under the direction of Garmany & Co. Funeral Directors.
