Funeral services for Leona Otto, age 88, of Needville, are scheduled for 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 9, at Immanuel United Church of Christ in Needville. Officiating at the service will be Rev. George Kuebler. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.

Mrs. Otto died on March 6, 1995 at Hermann Hospital in Houston. She was born on November 29, 1906 in Gruene. Her parents were Robert and Anna Kroesche. She was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe Otto, and a son, R.J. Otto.

Her survivors include a daughter, Jeanne Keeney, and husband Watson, of Dallas; daughter-in-law, Era Bell Otto, of Richmond; grandchildren, Connie and Mac McCune of Richmond, Sharon and G.T. Jones of Richmond, and Ron and Irene Otto of Richmond; great-grandchildren Lorna Willis of Richmond, Mason and Cole McCune of Richmond, and Jason, Callye, and Pierce Otto of Richmond; a brother, Bennie Kroesche, of Bellville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to Immanuel United Church of Christ or to the American Heart Association.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8, at Garmany & Carden Funeral Home, 3103 School Street in Needville.
