Harry R. Turner passed away Wednesday afternoon at four forty-five o'clock at his home, 536 First Avenue, following an illness of two years. Mr. Turner was sixty-four years of age, having been born May 2, 1871, at Grays, Essex, England. He had lived in Olean since 1891, and was a painter and carpenter.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Wallace Turner of Jamestown, and Richard Turner, Olean; two daughters, Mrs. Gerald Rounds, Buffalo, and Mrs. Theodore Fie, Olean; four sisters, Mrs. Fred Rowe, Mrs. Florence Kelly, Mrs. Frank Crott and Mrs. Ethel Schubert, all of Olean; also eight grandchildren.
Mr. Turner was a member of Riverside Tent, No. 10, Order of the Maccabees, and the First Methodist Episcopal Church.
Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
