Mrs. Mary L.Allen
Mrs. Mary L.Allen aged 84 years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Martha Farrell of 140 Fearl street, Friday evening at 10:50 o'clock. Mrs. Allen was the widow of Don Pedro Allen and the daughter of John and Sarah Decker Reed. She spent practialy all her life in Orange County, moving to Corning 12 years ago when she came to make home with her daughter. She is surived by two daughters, Mrs. Farrell at whose home she died and Mrs. Ellen B. Ferranti, 301 Beach street; one son, Alva, of Newark, and 27 grandchildren and four great, grandchildren. The body has been taken to the Stover Funeral Home from which place the funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 5 o'clock. Burial will be in Big Flats.
