Born June 17, 1918 in Walkerton, Indiana, he served in the Aircorp Engineers during World War II; and was employed by Ford Motor Credit Company.
Woody was a longtime member of the Lions Club and a member of the LDS church, where he held many callings. He served a full-time mission at the Family History Center.
Woody is survived by his wife of 69 years, Martha; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services Dec. 31, 2009, at 11:00 a.m., with a viewing at 10:00 a.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Century Gardens Ward, 633 S. Higley Rd., Mesa. Interment at Mountain View Memorial Park Cemetery, Mesa, AZ.
