LeRoy Harry Sutton, of Oshkosh, Nebraska, formerly of Ashby, Nebraska departed this life and entered The Eternal Home on December 29, 2009, at the Garden County Nursing Home in Oshkosh, Nebraska. LeRoy was 95 years of age having been born on October 15, 1914, in Alliance, Nebraska to Harry and Nellie (Boone) Sutton.
LeRoy grew up and received his education in Alliance, Nebraska graduating from Alliance (Nebraska) High School. On June 15, 1933, LeRoy was united in marriage to Emma Jelinek and they made their home in Grant County, south of Ashby, Nebraska. In 2002, LeRoy moved to the Garden County Nursing Home in Oshkosh, Nebraska. He enjoyed the ranch life, the cattle and driving his Jeeps.
LeRoy is survived by: son and daughter-in-law, Dwain and Sharon Sutton of Oshkosh, Nebraska; daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Dave Wooden of Cairo, Nebraska; daughter-in-law, Judy Sutton of Alliance, Nebraska; brothers and a sister-in-law, William "Bill" Sutton of Alliance, Nebraska; Ray and Marge Sutton of Ashby, Nebraska and a host of friends and relatives..
