Funeral services will be held this morning, Thursday, at St Paul Lutheran Church for Nolen M Eubank, 76, State Center, who died Tuesday morning, September 16 at University Hospitals in Iowa City, where he had been a patient about two weeks.

The Rev L R Meinecke will be in charge and burial will be in Hillside cemetery.

Mr Eubank was born April 24, 1899 at Kellogg, the son of Elias and Mary Hill Eubank. He grew up and received his education in the Mingo School. He married Gertrude Pfantz Brandt on January 21, 1942 in Omaha. They farmed near State Center, retiring to town in 1948.

He was a member of St Paul Lutheran Church and served several terms on the church council.

Surviving besides the widow are two daughters and one son, Mrs Darlo (Joyce) Long of Marshalltown, Mrs John (Roberta) Varnum of Perry and Richard Brandt of Waverly; and seven grandchildren.

Also surviving are three sisters and one brother, Mrs James Omara of Des Moines, Mrs Ray Danielson of Nevada, Mrs Herbert Collins of Mesa, Arizona and Lafe Eubank of Nevada.

He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
