EAST WILTON - Annie
Brockett, 92, formertly of East
Wilton, died March 6 at Oakgrove
Nursing Care Center of Waterville,
where she had be a patient for the
past two months following a short
illness.
She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y.,
June 3, 1900, the daughter of Frank
and Johanna Keller Nies.
She was educated in the schools
of Mt. Vernon and New Rochelle,
N.Y.
She was married to Raymond A.
Brockett June 7, 1938. He died Feb.
15, 1968.
She made her home in East
Wilton, moved to Winslow and
resided there for the past three years.
She is survived by her daughter-
in-law, Dorothy Murphy of
Winslow; four grandchildren,
Richard Craig and Robert Craig,
both of Winslow, Mrs. Nancyi n
Gradie of Oakland and Linda
Lagasse of Winslow; 11 great-
grandchildren and two great-great-
grandchildren; and good friends from
Wells, Farmington and Waterville.
She is predeceased by a son,
Grover Harold Huntley, who died in
1977.
At the request of the family,
there will be no calling hours.
Funeral services were held at 3
p.m. on March 8 at the Adams
Funeral Home, 3 Court Street,
Farmington, with The Rev.
William Gordon officiating.
Furial will be at the Riverside
Cemetery, Farmington.
