William Myers Moore Sr., 78, Gatesville farmer, was killed shortly after 1 p.m. Monday when the tractor he was driving overturned as he was crossing Mill Branch on the Sam Powell farm three miles north of Gatesville....
Mr. Moore was plowing on the Powell farm, breaking stubble, when it began to rain around 1 p.m. Monday.
