Charlotte Gossler, 4 miles southeast of Ida Grove, Iowa, died Feb. 22 at 11:00 p.m. She had been a sufferer of diabetes for 10 years, but was not considered seriously ill until about a week ago when she returned from a visit with her daughter at Turin, Iowa. On her arrival home, her feet began to swell, after which a swelling and pain began to the left hand and arm, this transferred itself to the left side. The funeral was on Saturday.

Mr. Gossler had advertised his sale for Feb. 28, but because his wife passed away, he postponed it until March 3, 1893.
