Marjorie Mann Jackson, 84, of Orange went to her heavenly home surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Services will be at 10:00a.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Harold Nazworth; burial will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Jackson was born August 9, 1921 in Doucet, TX to James Claude and Emma Alene (Bendy) Mann. She was raised in Tyler County and came to Orange in 1943. She was a homemaker and loving mother, grandmother and a devoted wife. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her two sons, Jimmy Jackson and Wayne Jackson. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Orvis "O.J." Jackson of West Orange; daughter, Ann Dickerson of Bridge City; 6 grandchildren, John Dickerson IV of Vinton, LA, Cyndi Poluk and husband Jon of Orange, Tommy Dickerson of Orange, Christie Johnson of Mauriceville, James Jackson and wife Kelly of South Carolina and Becky Fogle and husband Jim of Indiana. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, 1 brother, R. C. Mann and wife Betty of Bridge City and 1 sister, Thelma Van Slyke and husband Louis of Woodville; numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. Serving as pallbearers will be John Dickerson IV, John Dickerson V, Jon Poluk, Coby Poluk, Jim Fogle and Tommy Dickerson. Honorary pallbearers will be Cameron Johnson, Kyler Poluk and Logan Poluk.
