Columbus, GA – Emma Irene Arnsdorf, 80, of Columbus, died Monday, January 28, 2002 at Azalea Trace Nursing Center.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, January 31, 2002 at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Macon Road Chapel, with interment to follow in Main Post Cemetery, Ft. Benning, GA. Reverend David Stephens will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Mrs. Arnsdorf was born June 13, 1921 in LaGrange, GA, the daughter of the late Thomas Hiram Hendrix and Sally Hollis Hendrix. She had lived in Columbus since 1968 and was a member of Hillcrest Church of God, Columbus, Ga. Mrs. Arnsdorf was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph W. Arnsdorf.
Survivors include her son, two sisters, two grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
