An Obituary from "Gatesville Messenger & Star Forum," Thursday, August 3, 1972:

Funeral services for Mrs. Charley Guggolz of Gatesville will be held at 10:30 a.m. today, Thursday, at Scott's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Gary Brown will conduct the rites and burial will be in Restland Cemetery.
Mrs. Guggolz, 90, died at 10 p.m. Tuesday in a local rest home.
She was born Grace Leona Cloud in Williamson County on July 10, 1882 and came to Coryell County as a child with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Cloud.
She married Mr. Guggolz, a farmer, in 1899. He died in 1948.
Mrs. Guggolz lived at the Guggolz home place on Osage Road from 1905 until recently.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Surviving are one son, Leander Guggolz of Gatesville; a daughter Mrs. Fay Webb of Gatesville; nine grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
