Ruby M. "Aunt Ruby" Moye, 100, of 745 Old Broughton Road, Eldorado, formerly of Ridgway, passed away at her home 4:10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 26, 2009.
She was born Nov. 5, 1909 in Ridgway to Jacob H. and Sarah Selena (James) Hise.
Ruby married Lillis Moye on Feb. 18, 1933 and he preceded her in death on Sept. 13, 2004.
She is survived by a niece, Toby Hise of Eldorado; and sister, Geneda Cox of Ridgway.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sisters, Velma Dixon and Cologna Hise; and three brothers, Dee, Burtis L. and Gilbert Hise.
Services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009 at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Ridgway with the Rev. Rob Gallion officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery near Eldorado. Visitation for Ruby will be held 11 a.m. to service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
